1. The event organisers have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. All competitors and spectators must also take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of officials and stewards. 2. Any accidents must be reported to the Show Secretary. 3. Hard hats approved by BHS and BSJA to be worn when mounted or when participating in classes involving jumping. 4. Jackets are to be worn for ridden showing and show jumping classes. 5. The judge's decision is final. 6. Any objections must be made to the Show Secretary in writing within 30 minutes of any incident and must be accompanied by a deposit of 5 which will be refunded if the objection is sustained. 7. Organisers reserve the right to refuse entries, cancel or alter the times of classes, or to withdraw any horse thought to be in an unsound or unfit condition. 8. Entries must be accompanied by the appropriate fee. 9. The organisers reserve the right to limit any class. 10. Entry fees will not be refunded unless a valid medical and/or veterinary certificate is produced. 11. The number of prizes/rosettes in any class may be reduced if there are too few entries or for any other reason. 12. In the event of cancellation of any scheduled events the organisers reserve the right to retain 1.50 of the entry fee to cover administration costs. 13. The landowners and the organising committee will not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss or injury to competitors or spectators, their property, staff or horses/ponies in connection with or arising from equestrian events held at Littlefield Manor Farm, whether or not such damage is a result of the negligence of anyone assisting in running the events. 14. Competitors must ensure that their horses/ponies are insured against death or injury. 15.
The landowners prefer that dogs are not brought to the venue. However,
if any do attend, 16. A current vaccination certificate for equine flu and tetanus must be available if requested by the Show Secretary. 17. One Day Events will be run under BHS Horse Trials rules. |
